The Control, Dynamics and Robotics Laboratory specializes in the analysis, synthesis and design of robust control laws for both linear and nonlinear dynamical systems with only partially known mathematical models (i.e. possessing unmodelled dynamics). We are interested in hardware-in-the-loop control applications in the domains of robotics, mechatronics and multi-agent systems. We develop innovative control theory and algorithms inspired by such applications to expand control capabilities. One example of which is negative imaginary systems theory.
